- Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12-hour shifts per week) — Night Shift RN
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730
Job Requirements — Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience
- LTAC or critical care experience preferred (LTAC RN, critical care RN, ICU experience)
- Experience with interdisciplinary care, patient rehabilitation, and discharge planning preferred
Responsibilities — LTAC RN / Night Shift Nursing Duties
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate
- Accurately and timely document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from day of admission
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and best practices
- Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC and critical care nursing
