Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 (competitive perioperative RN pay)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Weekend & On-Call: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided
• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County) — New Jersey operating room job

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience with circulating experience required (perioperative RN experience preferred)
• Ability to scrub is preferred; demonstrated competency in both circulating and scrub roles is a plus
• Active New Jersey RN license required at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• CNOR certification preferred but not required
• Experience working with surgical specialties including thoracic, pediatric OR/PACU, and surgical pathology is highly desired

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Operating Room across a range of surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and efficient operative flow
• Assist with patient preparation, intraoperative care, and transition to post-operative recovery (PACU)
• Support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain strict sterile technique, infection control practices, and adherence to facility protocols
• Provide compassionate perioperative nursing care and clear communication with patients and families
