Orthopedic RN Night Shift – 13-week travel nurse assignment in Grove City, OH. • Location: Grove City, OH 43123 (Grove City nursing jobs / Columbus healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 14, 2026 – September 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — RN night shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 – $1,990
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site (Orthopedic RN / Medical-Surgical RN / Telemetry RN)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Orthopedic, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry nursing (preferred experience with orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, or fracture care)
• BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to float to other units as needed within the health system
• Completion of all onboarding health screenings and background checks prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality orthopedic and medical/surgical nursing care to adult patients, including post-operative and telemetry patients
• Perform clinical assessments, monitor telemetry, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and according to protocols
• Support pain management, wound care, mobility and fall prevention strategies for orthopedic patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, home safety, and recovery expectations
• Maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients and team members; adapt to operational needs including floating to other units
