Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Camden, NJ. Level 1 Trauma Center; 4+ years trauma OR experience required. 13-week travel contract in the Philadelphia-area (08103).

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Location: Camden, New Jersey (08103) – Philadelphia-area, easy access to Philadelphia, PA
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: July 7, 2026 – End: October 3, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• On Call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; occasional weekends as needed
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site Operating Room RN

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma operating room experience required (perioperative/surgical nurse experience)
• Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles in the OR
• Active New Jersey RN license (RN license in NJ required)
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Excellent attention to detail for patient safety and quality monitoring in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to meet department needs; no consecutive days or weeks of requested time off allowed

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Perform scrub and circulate responsibilities in the operating room as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient safety, infection control, and quality standards throughout the surgical process
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts as part of the travel nursing assignment
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while maintaining professional perioperative standards
