• Weekly Estimated Pay: $805 - $895
• Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (Local, On?Site)
• Role: Registered Nurse / Emergency Room Nurse / Emergency Department (ED) RN
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED) — acute care, fast-paced environment
• Shift: MIDS 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shifts per Week: 1 (Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month)
• Contract Length: 52 weeks
• Start Date: July 6, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA preferred)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour MIDS shifts and function in a high-acuity, fast-paced ED
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills (electronic health records experience a plus)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adults and/or pediatric patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs quickly and accurately in an acute care setting
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per orders and ED protocols
• Perform critical interventions and respond to emergencies, supporting resuscitation and rapid response efforts
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Communicate effectively with patients and families during high-stress situations, providing education and emotional support
