CT Technologist (Travel Contract) – Lorain, OH: 13-week night-shift CT job working with GE CT scanners and IV contrast. Join our hospital radiology team; ARRT(R) and Ohio RT license required.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,080
• Location: Lorain, Ohio (44053) — Ohio CT jobs / CT Tech jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 22, 2026 – September 21, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Thu, Fri, Sat: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) — night shift CT technologist
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Hospital – Dedicated CT Unit (travel radiology technologist)
• Equipment: GE CT580W Wide Bore 16-slice, Optima 64-slice — experience with GE CT preferred
• Call: Not required for agency workers

Minimum Requirements & Certifications

• At least 1 year of clinical CT experience required (2 years preferred)
• ARRT(R) registration required (Radiologic Technologist or RT(R))
• Current BLS certification
• Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist (state license required)
• Demonstrated experience with GE CT scanners (CT580W, Optima or similar)
• Ability to start IVs independently and manage IV contrast administration
• Strong technical skills across CT modalities and quality control procedures
• Ability to work independently overnight in a hospital CT unit

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging examinations and administer intravenous contrast per hospital protocols
• Prepare and maintain CT equipment, perform routine quality control and ensure proper stocking and cleanliness
• Transport and assist patients to/from the CT area; provide clear patient education about procedures
• Complete clerical duties and accurate documentation of patient care in electronic health records
• Operate CT scanners (GE models) and troubleshoot basic operational issues; escalate complex technical issues appropriately
• Follow and enforce radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and the public
• Maintain required competencies and certifications per department, state, and federal guidelines
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and departmental policies; demonstrate compassion, respect, and professionalism in patient care
• Mentor and support students, trainees, or residents as needed in the CT unit
