• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,551 - $2,835
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Call: No call requirement
• Holiday: No holiday requirement

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases required
• Orthopedic fracture experience is a plus
• Trauma Level 1 course and certificate preferred
• First-time travel nurses accepted with appropriate perioperative experience
• Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room environment
• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of complex surgical procedures
• Support trauma, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and transplant cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Float among OR services as needed within the surgical program
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Deliver high-quality care for adolescent, adult, infant, and geriatric patient populations
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented surgical services environment
