Experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. • Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule: Weekend position, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Recent Level II Trauma experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Experience with vascular, neuro, orthopedic, trauma, podiatry, and general OR cases required
• Robotics experience required, including urology procedures
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Trauma certification required; TNCC accepted
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Pulmonary procedure experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for adult and geriatric patients
• Perform both scrub and circulate duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Support complex procedures including trauma, open vascular, endovascular, neuro, orthopedic, podiatry, general, and urology cases
• Assist with robotic surgical procedures, particularly in urology
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately using Epic
• Respond effectively in high-acuity and trauma-focused surgical situations while maintaining quality patient care standards
