• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Shift Pattern: 3x12 schedule
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Clinical Setting: Adult acute care med/surg unit with telemetry experience preferred
• EMR: EPIC experience required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia (VA) or compact licensure eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• WV Cares status required or must be included
• 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Prior Med/Surg Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in every other weekend/holiday rotation
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients, including telemetry monitoring as needed
• Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and collaborate with the care team to support timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Document care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Support safe patient transitions, discharge planning, and patient education
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused care environment
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
