Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry RN or med-surg telemetry experience required
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac rhythm management
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Comfortable working night shifts and floating to comparable units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing practice
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Support patient safety through infection control, isolation precautions, and rapid response awareness
• Assist with care interventions such as IV management, oxygen therapy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
• Float to units of equal acuity when needed while maintaining excellent clinical standards
