• Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Dickson, Tennessee
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays may be required
• Positions Available: 3

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Fetal monitoring training required
• Experience laboring and recovering mothers, as well as receiving and transitioning newborns, required
• Experience with fetal monitoring, inductions, and OB emergencies preferred
• Experience with shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage preferred
• Comfort working in an LDRP setting with postpartum, newborn, and intermediate care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for laboring patients, deliveries, postpartum recovery, and maternal-newborn care
• Receive, assess, and transition newborns safely after delivery
• Support inductions, C-sections, vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries, and circumcision care as needed
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring and assist with intrauterine monitoring
• Respond quickly and confidently to obstetric emergencies
• Deliver compassionate couplet care and newborn support
• Collaborate with a seasoned healthcare team in a fast-paced, team-oriented L&D unit
• Float within the facility as needed based on staffing and patient care needs
