Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
Charting System: MEDITECH 6.15
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Orientation: 2 floor-specific shifts; completion of ORT during week one is expected

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license
5+ years of emergency room nursing experience
At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
MEDITECH experience required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, and CPI required
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume Emergency Department
Comfortable with patient ratios around 1:4
Ability to work within submission and scheduling guidelines, including the 75-mile radius rule

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy emergency department
Assess, triage, and stabilize patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics
Support care for trauma, neuro, orthopedic, and stroke-related cases as appropriate
Perform nurse-driven lab draws and start IVs when needed
Work collaboratively with charge nurses, providers, paramedics, sitters, security, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
Document accurately in MEDITECH and follow unit protocols and safety standards
Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on efficient, compassionate emergency care
