Emergency Center Registered Nurse
Location
- Albany, Georgia
Contract Length
- 17 weeks
Shift
- Days, 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- 5+ years of experience
- At least 1 prior travel assignment
- Larger hospital experience
- Meditech experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI
- ASLS
Work Setting
- Emergency department with approximately 180–200 visits per day
- Peds through geriatrics
- Trauma, neuro, ortho, and CVA patient mix
- Behavioral lock-down area with psych support
- Dedicated respiratory therapy support available 24/7
Schedule Expectations
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
Additional Details
- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts
- 2-shift floor-specific orientation
- Caribbean blue scrubs only
- Callout process must be followed
- Orientation must be completed during week one unless approved beforehand
