Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Frankfort, KY 40601

Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Friday and Saturday nights
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650

Job Requirements

Active RN license in Kentucky or compact license at time of submission
Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Experience circulating for cesarean sections required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NRP certification required
AWHONN certification required
Strong teamwork, communication, and flexibility in a maternity or perinatal nursing environment

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Circulate for cesarean sections and assist with operative deliveries as needed
Perform vaginal deliveries, sterile vaginal exams, and labor inductions
Support clinical procedures such as IV insertion, lab draws, Foley catheter placement, and epidural assistance
Care for patients experiencing IUFD and other high-acuity obstetric situations
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the broader obstetric and perinatal care team to promote excellent outcomes
Adapt to a busy labor and delivery unit while delivering attentive, patient-centered nursing care
