Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
- Prior Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a team-oriented hospital environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality maternal and newborn care
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with assessments, interventions, and care coordination during childbirth
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and fellow nurses to support safe patient outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth experience
- Document care accurately and follow established clinical protocols and hospital procedures
