Travel L&D RN opportunity in Chattanooga, Tennessee: join a supportive Labor & Delivery team caring for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment in the Chattanooga and East Ridge area offers strong weekly pay, 36 guaranteed hours, and a chance to grow your clinical skills while working in East Ridge, a small city bordering Chattanooga and about a 15-minute drive from Downtown Chattanooga.

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
  • Prior Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a team-oriented hospital environment
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality maternal and newborn care

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
  • Assist with assessments, interventions, and care coordination during childbirth
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and fellow nurses to support safe patient outcomes
  • Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth experience
  • Document care accurately and follow established clinical protocols and hospital procedures
