Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and maternal-newborn care skills
- Ability to work night shifts and perform effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and communicate changes promptly
- Assist with admissions, assessments, interventions, and routine Labor & Delivery unit procedures
- Support safe, family-centered care throughout the birthing process
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
