Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous adult and pediatric experience preferred
- BLS required
- PALS preferred
- ADN required
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience caring for trauma, ortho, neuro, and pediatric patients preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care for pediatric and mixed-age patients over 28 days old
- Support patients with trauma, post-operative ortho/neuro needs, and general pediatric needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, supervisors, and the care team to promote positive outcomes
- Float to other inpatient units as needed
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and respond to changing clinical needs
- Maintain a professional, team-focused approach in a fast-paced hospital setting
