Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care or sub-acute care setting
• Active, current, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States or its territories
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to complete TCAR within 6 months of hire
• Ability to complete NIHSS within 6 months of hire
• Strong independent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care Med/Surg environment
• Perform a variety of nursing procedures based on physician orders, standards of care, and facility policies
• Assess patient conditions, monitor responses to treatment, and document nursing care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Support patients and families with education, guidance, and compassionate clinical care
• Adapt to a dynamic medical-surgical nursing setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
