- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend required; voluntary on-call
- Floating: Yes, as needed during low census
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980-$2,080
- Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state license
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Current PALS certification from AHA required
- TNCC or ATCN required
- CPI or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-acuity clinical setting
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused during emergency and crisis situations
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely treatment plans
- Deliver compassionate care while treating patients and families with respect and dignity
- Perform nursing interventions and document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Support the unit during low census and adapt to varying patient volumes and staffing needs
- Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a strong commitment to quality patient care
