Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM required
- Experience in a fast-paced L&D, maternity, or women’s health setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend and call scheduling as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Support newborn care immediately following delivery
- Circulate and recover cesarean section patients
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
- Collaborate with physicians, scrub techs, and unit staff to support safe maternal and newborn outcomes
- Follow unit procedures, documentation standards, and shared decision-making practices
- Float as needed according to unit policy, with travelers floating first
