- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 0630A to 1700P
- Estimated Shift Pattern: 4 shifts per week; Wednesdays off
- Call Requirement: 1 shift per week after the scheduled day for 2 to 4 hours, plus 1 to 2 weekend call shifts per month
- Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 - $2,140
- Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services
- EMR: Epic
- Additional Notes: Floating required; scrubs provided
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
- Active Florida RN license or compact RN license required at submission
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Prior travel nurse experience required
- Robotic and orthopedic/neuro experience required
- Experience with orthopedic, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics cases preferred
- Degree accreditation must be listed on profile, or 5 years of experience is required
- All requested time off must be submitted with application materials
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Support a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic, neuro, trauma, vascular, oncology, bariatric, and robotic procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to maintain efficient workflow
- Float as needed and adapt quickly across comparable surgical units
- Participate in call coverage according to the schedule
- Document accurately in Epic and follow established surgical and nursing standards
- Contribute as a dependable team member in a culture that values professionalism, flexibility, and strong unit collaboration
