Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU or step-down experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative acute care environment
• Cardiac experience and prior Meditech experience are preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care and step-down patients with medical and post-operative needs
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgical, cath lab, orthopedic, and cardiac procedures
• Administer and manage care for patients with conditions such as stroke, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary care team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient monitoring using the designated EMR system
• Contribute to a positive, teamwork-focused unit culture that values communication, flexibility, and patient-centered care
