• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Start Date: 9/7/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12s considered; 36 hours per week
• Call: 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, including one weekend call shift
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Specialty Focus: Operating Room, with strong exposure to ENT, plastics, and pediatric surgical cases

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong experience in ENT, plastics, and pediatrics
• Experience with pediatric OR and general surgical procedures
• AHA BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred; 1-year minimum Epic experience required
• Ability to work nights and participate in a call rotation
• Must be comfortable floating to other qualified units and campuses within the health system as needed
• Must be able to complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
• Support a wide variety of surgical cases, including ENT, plastics, and pediatric procedures
• Assist with all surgical procedures except vascular, CVOR, and neuro cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to ensure efficient case flow
• Deliver patient-centered care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and use Epic for charting and workflow management
• Participate in call coverage and respond as needed for surgical volume
• Adapt to a high-volume perioperative environment with approximately 60-80 cases per day
• Float to other qualified areas when census or staffing needs require it
• Follow all compliance, orientation, and onboarding requirements before and during the assignment
