- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
- Start Date: 9/7/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3x12s considered; 36 hours per week
- Call: 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, including one weekend call shift
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Charting System: Epic preferred
- Specialty Focus: Operating Room, with strong exposure to ENT, plastics, and pediatric surgical cases
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required; 2 years preferred
- Strong experience in ENT, plastics, and pediatrics
- Experience with pediatric OR and general surgical procedures
- AHA BLS certification required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred; 1-year minimum Epic experience required
- Ability to work nights and participate in a call rotation
- Must be comfortable floating to other qualified units and campuses within the health system as needed
- Must be able to complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
- Support a wide variety of surgical cases, including ENT, plastics, and pediatric procedures
- Assist with all surgical procedures except vascular, CVOR, and neuro cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to ensure efficient case flow
- Deliver patient-centered care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and use Epic for charting and workflow management
- Participate in call coverage and respond as needed for surgical volume
- Adapt to a high-volume perioperative environment with approximately 60-80 cases per day
- Float to other qualified areas when census or staffing needs require it
- Follow all compliance, orientation, and onboarding requirements before and during the assignment
