Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
- Experience supporting care coordination and interdisciplinary teamwork
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate patient status changes to the care team to support continuity and safety
- Support discharge planning and patient/family teaching from admission through discharge
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
- Promote a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients and staff
- Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality patient outcomes
