• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Recovery Room

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• At least 1 year of recent PACU, recovery room, perioperative, or acute care nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required before the contract start date
• PALS or ENPC certification required before the contract start date, or a booked course at clinical orientation
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based surgical recovery environment

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care to post-anesthesia patients in the PACU
• Monitor patients closely during recovery, including vital signs, airway status, pain level, and overall stability
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process and established departmental standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative care team to support safe, timely patient recovery
• Delegate appropriately and support workflow among team members as needed
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility policies governing patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
