• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670 - $1,760
• Charting: Epic
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Experience: 1+ year of emergency department nursing experience required

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license in hand
• 1 year of emergency room / emergency department experience required
• Prior experience in an urban Level I Trauma ED required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• TNCC and CPI strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Comfort working with adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across multiple age groups
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a busy emergency department
• Support trauma, critical care, and acute interventions as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families
