- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Location: Tallahassee, FL 32308
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Estimated Shifts Per Week: 3
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Weekend Requirement: Three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Call Requirement: One extra shift per 4-week schedule
- Floating: Required as needed to Family Care/Mother-Baby; may float to NICU or PICU as helping hands
- Orientation: Weekly orientation available on Mondays
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, LDRP, or related women’s health nursing experience
- Prior LDRP or Mother/Baby experience preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or a compact state
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent
- EPIC experience required
- Strong ECG interpretation skills
- Immediate newborn care experience
- Ability to circulate and recover C-sections
- Candidates must not have a Tallahassee address to be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Labor & Delivery and Antenatal units
- Monitor mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Circulate and recover C-section patients
- Support fetal monitoring and interpret rhythms with accuracy and confidence
- Deliver immediate newborn care and respond to changing clinical needs
- Float to Mother/Baby, NICU, or PICU as needed to assist the team
- Work collaboratively in a high-volume environment with strong attention to safety and quality
- Maintain excellent documentation and follow unit protocols using EPIC
