• Patient Ratio: 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Unit Size: 5 beds
• Coverage: Adult and geriatric patient population

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner preferred and expected
• Strong clinical background in Med/Surg care and telemetry support
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care for adult and geriatric patients
• Travel nurse experience not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patients, assess changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and support complex therapies
• Perform wound care, assist with drains, and support post-operative recovery
• Manage oxygen therapy, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia recognition
• Support procedures such as central line care, feeding tube management, and blood product administration as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient outcomes
