- Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks, with option for 26 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770-$1,870

- Location: Columbia, SC 29203
- Setting: Intermediate intensive care / progressive care environment
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or a valid multistate license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred; first-time travelers considered with strong critical care experience
- Prior ICU, IICU, IMC, PCU, DOU, or stepdown experience required
- Experience managing acuity of at least 1:3
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry, and cardiac monitoring
- Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips; ventilator experience required
- Willingness to work scheduled holidays and weekend requirements
- Must be comfortable floating to other qualified units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for adult patients with trauma, medical, surgical, and neurologic conditions
- Monitor patients requiring frequent assessments and interventions every 1-2 hours
- Interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias with confidence and accuracy
- Titrate cardiac, vasoactive, and insulin drips according to patient needs and provider orders
- Care for ventilated patients and support complex intermediate care needs
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Respond to transfers, escalations of care, and admissions from higher-acuity settings
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit workflows and standards
- Support patient safety through ongoing assessment, intervention, and reassessment
