Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a critical care RN who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable floating across ICU and related units as needed. - Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Interview Process: Virtual interviewing
Job Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required
- No new graduates
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing to complex and critically ill patients under physician direction
- Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in the ICU and float pool environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate safe care
- Float to ICU, step-down, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders as needed
- Support care in additional assigned clinical units following orientation when required
- Maintain safe staffing practices and work effectively in ratio-driven assignments
- Direct nursing support staff in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures
- Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity, unit needs, and shift assignments
