Job Details

• Position: Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Job
• Setting: Float Pool covering inpatient medical-surgical units, telemetry, step-down, and ED holds
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• End Date: December 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS required
• NIHSS required
• ACLS and TNCC preferred
• Strong EPIC experience required
• Ability to float between multiple units and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Must be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity, fast-moving environment
• No new graduates

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple medical-surgical, telemetry, and step-down units
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care while adapting to different unit workflows and patient populations
• Manage assignments with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on standard Med/Surg units
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain strong medication safety practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Follow all facility policies, attendance standards, and compliance expectations
• Participate in orientation and remain flexible to support float assignments as needed
