Travel Nurse Job Details

• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Mason City, Iowa
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,550 - $2,680
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• On-Call: 10-12 days per month, with holiday rotation
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend

CVOR RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• CVOR nursing experience required
• Experience supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures in an operating room setting
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, weekends as assigned, and on-call coverage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to meet onboarding and compliance requirements for travel nurse assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and/or scrub support in the cardiovascular operating room
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative patient care
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized surgical environment
• Support accurate documentation and adherence to sterile technique and OR protocols
• Respond to on-call needs and participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
