• Hours Per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Call: No on-call requirement
• Weekend Coverage: As scheduled within the assignment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with cardiac cases, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
• Orthopedic fracture experience is a plus
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate OR experience
• Valid references and copies of certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of complex surgical procedures
• Support trauma, cardiac, transplant, neurosurgical, spine, and orthopedic cases
• Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient workflow throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and surgical team members
• Float between designated surgical areas as needed within the assignment
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Adapt to a high-acuity environment while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
