• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Patient Care Setting: 6-bed unit with variable census and patient assignments

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required; 2 years of med surg experience preferred
• Ability to float to ICU / Med Surg and accept appropriate med surg assignments
• Strong flexibility, adaptability, and critical thinking skills
• Experience caring for post-op GYN and surgical patients preferred
• Comfortable working in a setting with variable nurse-to-patient ratios based on census

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to ICU and Med Surg patients
• Float as needed and support appropriate med surg nursing assignments
• Monitor and care for patients with a variety of GYN and surgical needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs, patient volume, and assignment complexity
• Maintain professional communication, documentation, and nursing standards
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment in a busy acute care setting
