Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of acute care, ICU, or med-surg nursing experience required
• 2 years of med-surg experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient assignments and census levels
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
• Flexibility to float between ICU and med-surg as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to ICU and med-surg patients
• Support a patient population that may include GYN, bariatric, ENT post-op, and other surgical cases
• Float appropriately to ICU or med-surg based on unit needs and assignment
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition with clinical judgment and urgency
• Work effectively within a variable nurse-to-patient ratio based on census and assignment
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism on every shift
