Travel RN opportunity in Northeast Philadelphia, PA 19114. Join a dynamic Med/Surg Telemetry team and provide high-quality acute care nursing for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Overview

This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong medical-surgical telemetry skills, a collaborative mindset, and confidence working in a busy acute care environment. You will support interdisciplinary care teams, use EPIC charting, and help deliver safe, compassionate patient care every day.

• Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950 - $2,060
• Charting System: EPIC
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: No floating required
• On-Call: No on-call requirement
• Start Date: 9/21/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Strong ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and common med/surg interventions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be able to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support daily patient care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, respiratory services, and other clinical staff
• Care for patients with post-op needs, renal failure, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, and cardiac concerns
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and communicate effectively with the care team
• Maintain a calm, team-oriented approach in a busy hospital nursing environment
