• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Active multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or mental health nursing preferred
• Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, the bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workload effectively
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review clinical and numerical data carefully
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience preferred
• Behavioral health experience and de-escalation techniques preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional and behavioral health needs
• Assess, organize, and complete patient care with consideration for age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
• Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans
• Build therapeutic relationships to support psychosocial treatment and coordinated nursing care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document test and examination results
• Support safe and timely discharge planning through referrals and patient education
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to quality improvement and educational activities on the unit
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and unit operations
