Job Details
- Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
- Setting: High-volume emergency department / emergency room

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care emergency department hospital experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
- ENPC certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient engagement skills
- Preferred: experience in a high-volume ED and familiarity with Meditech
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to emergency department patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively in urgent and emergent situations
- Support behavioral health, psych, and at-risk patient care with a strong focus on safety and monitoring
- Assist with procedural sedation and other common ED interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, EMTs, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Educate and communicate with patients and families in a clear, supportive, and professional manner
- Maintain a proactive approach to anticipating patient and unit needs throughout the shift
