Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support a cardiac stepdown unit caring for patients who need close monitoring and advanced nursing support. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a dynamic acute care environment, values teamwork, and is confident delivering excellent care during overnight shifts.

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or intermediate care experience strongly preferred
• IMC skill set preferred
• Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide safe, compassionate patient care

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for cardiac and cardiopulmonary stepdown patients with varying levels of acuity
• Assess patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Follow unit protocols, safety practices, and infection prevention standards
