• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Setting: Inpatient Med/Surg resource team
• Location: Lafayette, IN

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic experience strongly preferred; ability to test out of Epic education may be available if used within the past year
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float between three Med/Surg units
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with a flexible, independent approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to adult Med/Surg patients
• Care for patients with general and orthopedic post-op needs, back surgeries, GI conditions, renal issues, oncology diagnoses, and other medical concerns
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage Heparin drips and blood administration as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient flow across Med/Surg units
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Adapt quickly to changing assignments, patient acuity, and unit needs
