• Duration: 17 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Unit Ratio: 3:1, with some 2:1 assignments based on patient acuity

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong medication management and patient monitoring skills
• Experience caring for vented patients and managing critical drips preferred
• Comfort working in a high-acuity stepdown, PCU, or IMCU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for cardiac stepdown patients with complex needs
• Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Manage medications, IV therapies, and critical drips safely and accurately
• Care for patients requiring ventilator support and advanced monitoring
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in MEDITECH
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
