- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Setting: Emergency Department / Level III Trauma
- Floating: Required
- Call: Required
Job Requirements
- Active RN license and current nursing credentials
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- NRP preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly
- Experience documenting patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement practices
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care effectively
- Administer medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response and side effects
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff competency and patient needs
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and practice improvement
- Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards in the Emergency Department
