Job Requirements

• Active RN license and current nursing credentials
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• NRP preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly
• Experience documenting patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement practices

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care effectively
• Administer medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response and side effects
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff competency and patient needs
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and practice improvement
• Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards in the Emergency Department
