This Med/Surg Tele RN role includes 12-hour rotating shifts and an every-other-weekend rotation, with the chance to support a high-acuity inpatient setting while expanding your telemetry and medical-surgical nursing expertise.
Overview
This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic med/surg telemetry environment. You will care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including general internal medicine, geriatrics, and special pathogens, while contributing to a team that values collaboration, respect, and high-quality patient care.

Job Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
- Travel nursing experience required
- Comfort floating to like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
- Administer medications and manage complex treatments according to the plan of care
- Support patients receiving blood products, insulin drips, oxygen therapy, and IV medications
- Perform central line, PICC line, and peripheral line care and management
- Use strong assessment and critical thinking skills to support rapid response and code situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote high-quality outcomes
- Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
- Float to like units when needed and adapt to changing patient needs
