- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN)
- Location: San Antonio, Texas 78229
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required in an acute care or hospital setting
- NIH certification required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- Neuro-stroke, seizure, neurological disorder, cardiac, or neuro-surgical experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and float as needed
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and skilled telemetry nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess patients for changes in condition
- Perform and document nursing care in Meditech
- Assist with common unit procedures including peripheral IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and NGT insertion
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain adherence to unit policies, floating guidelines, and attendance expectations
- Support a professional, team-oriented environment while delivering excellent patient care
