• Unit Environment: Med-surg, telemetry, and float pool coverage across multiple inpatient units

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license or eligibility to work as a Registered Nurse in the state
• Minimum of 4 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Experience in stepdown or telemetry nursing strongly preferred for night shift success
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Successful recent travel nursing contract experience required
• Strong adaptability for working across different units and patient populations
• Meditech experience preferred
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must be able to pass an on-site telemetry exam on day one

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in med-surg, telemetry, and float pool settings
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Deliver attentive nursing care in fast-paced acute care hospital environments
• Adapt quickly to changing patient assignments and unit workflows
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care thoroughly and accurately using the facility's charting systems
• Support patients with a strong focus on clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork
