- Start Date: 9/21/2026
- End Date: 12/21/2026
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; daytime hours
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Patient Volume: Approximately 40-50 patients per day
- Charting System: Epic
- Pre-Approved Time Off: Up to 2 days
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact license in hand
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a high-volume outpatient setting
- All required certifications must be in hand at the time of submission
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care in a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic environment
- Support efficient patient flow in a schedule with appointments every 15 minutes
- Perform assessments, obtain vital signs, and reinforce patient education
- Assist with chart preparation, medication reconciliation, follow-up calls, and referral coordination
- Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinic workflows
- Collaborate with providers and support staff to help ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and a calm presence in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting
