• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; daytime hours
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Patient Volume: Approximately 40-50 patients per day
• Charting System: Epic
• Pre-Approved Time Off: Up to 2 days

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a high-volume outpatient setting
• All required certifications must be in hand at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic environment
• Support efficient patient flow in a schedule with appointments every 15 minutes
• Perform assessments, obtain vital signs, and reinforce patient education
• Assist with chart preparation, medication reconciliation, follow-up calls, and referral coordination
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinic workflows
• Collaborate with providers and support staff to help ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and a calm presence in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting
