Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Setting: Operating Room / Procedural Care / Perioperative Nursing
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Schedule Notes: No weekends, no call, and floating may be required to related procedural areas including SPU, Pain Center, and PACU
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a compact state
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, with OR nurse or procedural nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in procedural care, GI/OR, moderate sedation, and pre-op/post-op settings
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or required per assignment screening
• Experience in high-acuity environments, including trauma-level settings, required
• Strong background in outpatient surgery center workflows
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a procedural and perioperative environment
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and discharge readiness
• Assist with procedural cases involving pain management and related interventions
• Prepare patients and maintain readiness for cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and facet procedures
• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth patient flow
• Manage care for multiple patients while maintaining strong attention to detail and safety
• Document accurately in Epic and uphold facility protocols and best practices
• Adapt to floating needs across OR, GI, PACU, and recovery-related areas as assigned
