• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts (07:00–15:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500–$2,630
• Weekend/Call: No weekend requirement and no on-call requirement
• Additional Details: Scrubs provided; charting experience required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner charting preferred/required
• Strong knowledge of universal protocol, surgical safety, and perioperative best practices
• Ability to support a broad surgical case mix in an ambulatory surgery center
• Willingness to complete all pre-start requirements, including documentation and screening

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a surgical case mix that may include urology, GYN, plastics, ophthalmology, general surgery, GI, pain management, breast, and ENT procedures
• Assist with room setup, patient preparation, intraoperative support, and turnover
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold patient safety standards throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical care team to ensure smooth case flow
• Document accurately in the charting system and communicate effectively with the care team
• Float as needed to support nearby surgical operations when not required in the primary location
