Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and post-operative care preferred
- Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
- Prior Meditech experience is a plus
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a friendly, patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
- Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Care for post-operative patients, including surgical, orthopedic, cath lab, and specialty populations
- Support patients with stroke symptoms, chest pain, respiratory issues, renal failure, and cardiac drips
- Collaborate closely with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and the interdisciplinary care team
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care in a fast-paced PCU environment
