• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 – $2,630
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• On-Call: Yes, including weekday and weekend call rotation

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of direct Operating Room RN experience required
• Active Illinois RN license in hand; pending or emergency licenses are not accepted
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for this assignment
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and CNOR preferred or required based on unit need
• Must be able to scrub and circulate in the Operating Room
• Experience with orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, and urology required
• Epic charting experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required, medical exemptions only
• Influenza vaccination required, no exemptions

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting
• Scrub and circulate across a variety of surgical cases
• Support procedures in orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, and urology
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical environment
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical cases
• Assist with specimen handling, universal protocol, and infection control practices
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure smooth case flow
• Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as scheduled
• Document accurately in Epic and follow facility workflow standards
